Summer is in full bloom, and we couldn’t be more excited to read the news of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, a 50% discount when you eat in at restaurants that take part in the initiative. We know and like eating in many restaurants in London, but here are our five favourite restaurants with recommendations on the best dishes directly from the owners.
Mon Plaisir is the oldest French restaurant in London, filled with original artwork and many hidden gems from France, bringing all the best ingredients and traditional French dishes served with a modern twist to the heart of London. Dogs and humans are greeted with a warm welcome by all of the staff, and they have four rooms to choose from, each with unique features for any occasion.
The owner, Aline, suggested us the Escalope of Veal with Morel Mushrooms and Crushed Potatoes. She also recommended checking the extensive list of cheese and wine, implemented since its foundation in the Forties.
With a 50% discount on food and soft drinks, we will certainly visit them for an authentically French dining experience this month.Known for their seasonal, sustainable and ethical ingredients, Bobo Social is the place to go for a great weekend lunch or a dinner to fight the mid-week blues with friends.
The owner's, Mike Benson, favourite dishes are Braised Lamb Croquettes as a starter, followed by Miso Salmon with a side of Hand Cut Sweet Potato Chips (its Truffle Salt is an experience!) or a Warm Goats Cheese Salad.
Our dogs and four-legged customers always receive much attention from the waiters. We are certainly going to enjoy the £10 off their high-quality food during these August nights.
Wild by Tart was founded by the Tart duo, Lucy and Jemima, and Tom, a talented photographer and founder of leading photography studio Lock Studios.
This neighbourhood restaurant focuses on fresh seasonal ingredients in a friendly environment.
The manager recommends tomatoes with salsa verde and crispy capers on these summer days. The pork is a delicious alternative as it comes directly from Jemima's farm, as well as their honey jam. We know why these are widely popular dishes but don't just take it from us. Look how happy our four-legged foodie customer Archie, was when he visited them.
After finding out they offer the Eat Out to Help Out discount on all the restaurant dishes on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, we knew we would spend an evening in their beautiful Summer Pop Up to try their delicious dishes. The Jones Family Kitchen opened in 2018. “Simple is our thing”, as the co-founder, Amit Joshi, highlighted: they try to do everything to the beat of our abilities and with a smile.
Amit’s recommendation for a great meal is starting with the steak house salad, super tasty and light. Then, for an evening gathering, you can never go wrong with the prime rib Medium rare. Adding truffle Mac and cheese, triple cooked chips, English greens and red wine sauce will make everything even more delicious. Treating yourself at the Jones Family Kitchen means finishing it with the vegan chocolate tart with hazelnuts, and strawberry cream.
Our furry customers appreciate the staff, who know them by name and give them the bone from their steak to take home. Great people, as Daphne confirmed when she visited.
Qur Muses are looking forward to having a special dinner during this month of Eat Out to Help Out offers. We are anticipating the great taste of the 55 days aged 300g ginger pig rump steak with Chips and chimichurri or bearnaise. All for £10 only.A young all-day-dining restaurant founded in July 2020 to share Valentina and Juliana's passion for coffee, Morena originated as a coffee roastery, inspired by the flavours of Latin-America and the sisters' love for food with a new and modern twist.
The two owners love to serve their signature Fish tacos and their colourful Acai bowl and are always happy to welcome dogs into their restaurant with water and plenty of cuddles. Their great success is only the start of an ambitious journey to spreading the secrets of coffee making.
We are sure our Muses will love to meet this young duo and their team while we try their best dishes and enjoy the view of Eccleston Yards.
